Lake Powell on our way to a low level Grand Canyon river rafting flyover. Information about Grand Canyon tours

Grand Canyon Rafting Tour Descriptions

Virtual Glen Canyon Dam Tour (The tour seen above)

This is the second part of the Grand Canyon Rafting Flyover Tour series and begins as we take off northward

from Page Municipal Airport. As we lift off we get brief distance views of part of Lake Powell including Warm

Creek Bay, Gunsight Bay and Padre Bay. As we proceed northward we can see Antelope Island and Wahweap

Bay before banking westward towards the Glen Canyon Dam. We then get views of Page Municipal Airport, the

City of Page Arizona and Lechee off our left wing and views of the Colorado River as it winds through Marble

Canyon southward towards the Grand Canyon National Park. Once we pass over the Dam, we bank to follow the

Colorado River in a southwest heading before the tour ends before Horseshoe Bend.
