To Begin, here is a description of an actual tour offered by a local tour operator:

This two day tour combines four different tours: First is a four hour city tour covering San Francisco's

most famous and hidden landmarks as well as visits to the Golden Gate bridge, Golden Gate Park, Palace

Of Fine Arts and Twin Peaks. Second is a catamaran cruise between Alcatraz and the Golden Gate

Bridge for sightseeing and lookouts for sea lions, whales and dolphins. Then there's a seaplane flight for

a birds eye view of the city and the bay. Finally a visit to Alcatraz and back ends the tour. I'll provide a

link to a full page description and itinerary of this and other San Francisco tours in the near future.
